DIY Trivets from (mostly) sewn

When the temperature outside drops to -12C, as it did yesterday, all I want to do is stay inside and craft. I bought these cork trivets a few weeks ago from the dollar store, and wanted to make them a little more fun. And nothing says fun like spray paint.

DIY Trivets from (mostly) sewn

After playing around with a few pattern ideas, I decided to keep it simple by blocking off a quarter of the trivet with tape and paper and spray painting one edge on both sides to give it a dip-dye effect. I’m really happy with the final result!
